Thanksgiving 2009

Well I have been slacking on updates so here are the big event photos from Thanksgiving in Ruidoso . . . Easton's first hike, ride on the 4 wheeler, snow, and trip to Ruidoso, NM! And he LOVED his baths (tubbers) in the sink.

Baby Dedication

Here are some photos of Easton's Baby Dedication at Stonebriar Church and with Pastor Chuck. I love his argyle onesie (Easton's, not Pastor Chuck's ;)! Apparently the sermon was wonderful, but I didn't hear it as E and I spent some time together walking laps around the sanctuary :)

Halloween 2009

We had such a blast this Halloween, as it fell on the same weekend as TCU Homecoming. Easton was also 10 weeks old, so big! Here are some photos of Easton & Mila dressed up, Trudy & Matt's Halloween party, and the TCU v UNLV game. It was Easton's first game, although he only watched for a few minutes . . . then he got hungry :) Is Parker rubbing his head for good luck?? TCU is definitely on a roll! Also Uncle Jason, Aunt Megan, & cousins Avery & Teague came in town to Trick-o-Treat, but I was so tired I didn't get any photos . . . shame on me!

Home to Iowa!

Last weekend we traveled home to Des Moines for cousin Mindy's wedding. Of course, it was also to visit Grandma Jules, Grandpa JR, Aunt Lu, Uncle Brett, Cousin Aiden, & Uncle Jake and all of the relatives. The trip itself (flight, drive, etc.) was a breeze! Easton was very well behaved on the plane. He ate on our ascent and slept the rest of the way, whew!

Easton had his first date with Elsie Clutts, Sarah's daughter, who is one week (to the hour) younger than E. They had no idea what was going on . . .

Easton loved uncle Jake, the new "Baby Whisperer" and Grandpa got his "boot camp" time in. And he especially loved the play time with his cousin Aiden! They were a hoot together . . . we had way too much fun dressing them up and posing them for the camera! Favorite pics: Halloween onesies, Iowa Hawkeye hats & Tuxedo onesies!

8 Weeks Old

Easton is 8 weeks today. I'm copying Bodes and using an 8 week sign . . .

He is getting SO big! Not sure what he weighs now, but the car seat is getting more and more heavy each time I lift it! We have our 2 month doctor's visit next week so we will know then . . .

My First Jeans Day!

What better way to celebrate the cool fall weather than to pull on a pair of jeans . . . Here is Easton in his first pair, which are huge, but pretty cute. There's something hilarious about babies in adult pants. It makes me smile. Oh, and of course Mila wanted in on the action, as well as Easton's "Buddy" blanket . . .

Parker's Visit

The Pittmans came over Saturday to watch the games and Parker mended his relationship with Mila. They are now best buds. Jeremy decided Parker should try on his football helmet . . . it fits . . . almost!

Easton's Photo Shoot

We finally had some professional photos taken of Easton. The talented Kristie Mills captured some adorable shots of E Man. We are so impressed with her skill! I would highly recommend her if you need portraits.
I've posted a few of my favorites. You can view all of them by going to her website: http://www.kristiemillsphotography.com/

Go Texas Tech!

We dressed up for the TTU v UT game last Saturday. Darn, Tech lost! But it was pretty close. Easton looks good in Raider Red!

1 Month Old!

Outfit #1, 2 & 3

And I am finally up to date with the blog, hooray! Easton is one month old today. We had three wardrobe changes within 30 minutes this morning (ie, diapers leaked like crazy)! He is getting bigger and filling out more, as you may be able to tell by the double chin he has acquired. During "tummy time" he is moving his head from one side to another, following the noise of his rattle, which I move from one ear to the other. He is also very strong! He likes to kick his legs and move across his activity mat, especially when he is all worked up and mad!

Nan, Aunt Megan & Cousin Avery come to visit!

Easton loves visitors . . .

Mom got carried away with the camera. Easton is wondering what is going on . . .
